Dolce & Gabbana

22 Mar

Dolce and Gabanna’s spring/summer 2012 collection is making many statements that we all should be embracing, like right now!
Ladies– Guess what? Lace is they new black! Yes my loves, we get to bring back that 1920’s-30’s flair which was sexy yet chaste. The dresses are smart yet sensual enough to accommodate todays’ fashion vixen… I absolutely love the shoes, which are draped in lace as well! To make the lace a bit more daring they’ve paired it with leather!! It’s beyond insane!
D&G’s color of the season is lilac. I love this color because it’s springy but not too loud and overbearing. I’d refer to the color as an ‘understated beauty’ 🙂
There’s so much more for women, ladies just check the site or stores out, you definitely won’t be disappointed!
Men– Let’s just call this the year of the cropped pant. The smart fit of the khakis/denim is perfect for the playful yet sophisticated look us women all love on our men. D&G had set the standard (as usual) with this look for our summer time soirees. For my big and tall men, don’t fret because the style is perfect for you as well! Don’t be deterred!
Suits, suits, and yes more suits! Every man should have a black suit just as every woman has that timeless little black dress in their closet! Pair that suit with the perfect ”skinny” tie and you won’t miss! Again, just a few of this year styles that I wanted to talk about. Visit the site yourself and check back and let me know what you think!

Lace has always been the 3S fabric for me…Sexy, Seductive, and Secretive. When paired with black you just can’t go wrong. Over the past couple of months I’ve added 3 new inexpensive lace pieces to my professional, casual, and nightwear wardrobe. I picked up a laced body suit from Lb, lace boyfriend shirt from Forever 21(quality is not good but the clothes are cute and serves its purpose),and a navy lace pencil skirt @ Although I am not a big shoe fan, I have noticed that a shoe can take an ordinary outfit to new heights. My only problem is finding heels that a 6’1 girl can walk in… any suggestions?

Best shoe for a woman your height would definitely be the platform pump. Embrace the 4inch heels and strut in them. The platform gives you just the right amount of balance and comfort to wear all day and/or night..
