About a month ago, I had the pleasure of attending this amazing restaurant. Although it wasn’t my first time, each visit really does outdo the last.
Upon arrival, you’re actually put off by its exterior. Located in a renovated warehouse, you would never know the extravagance of the inside until you enter it. Valet parking was timely and professional (tell you more about the valet at the end). Once I entered, I was taken aback at the beauty that is inside. The ambiance of the restaurant is breathtaking. Dim lighting with a modern decor pull together the urban yet chic feel quite nicely. As I was seated, I was very pleased with the spaciousness that allowed me to move with ease through the restaurant.
Once seated, I was promptly met by my waitress, Jen, who was extremely pleasant and competent in answering my questions about the menu. I ordered the oysters as an appetizer. They were extremely fresh which was great! For my entrée, I had the cedar-plank salmon with braised greens which were both cooked to perfection! With my usual Gentlemen’s Jack and Cranberry to drink, I was in heaven. The meal was moderately priced and left me full but not overly stuffed. Once I exited the restaurant, the valet pulled directly in. I didn’t have to wait at all in the cold, it was excellent. I had to tip him properly because you normally don’t get valet service as quick as that.
Overall, I would rate this restaurant a 10. Everything about it was great, especially the fact that their menu changes everyday. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place for a group of friends or to take a date on a special occasion.
