Fred’s Fashion Tip of the Day

09 Apr

What’s up fam…

Another week for us to get ourselves in order!

So, with yesterday being Easter I was able to see a lot of fashion no-no’s. But I want to speak on the biggest issue I saw. Parents: your kids are your number one fans! They watch everything you do, and are faithful to you to a fault. They want to walk, talk, and dress like you.

Ladies if you carry yourself in a very unlady-like manner then expect to see the same thing in your daughters. Do better at show your daughters that there’s more to life than getting your hair done and buying a new outfit to go to the club every week. You need to show them that being a woman requires more work than that. If you sit around and gossip and let them listen the entire time, don’t be surprised when your business is repeated throughout the neighborhood. Also ladies, dress your daughters in age appropriate clothing… Its sad to see little girls in these raunchy outfits that their mama dresses them in. Ladies do better!

And fellas, your sons are definitely going to imitate you. Most young boys rarely have a full-time male role model in their life, so if you are apart of any young boys life, please be mindful of your own actions. Wearing saggy pants and not taking care of your own hygiene will more than likely be repeated by your son.

So parents please be mindful of what you do in front of your kids.. Remember they watch you just as much as God does!

So true! I personally think some people forget to stop by and look at themselves in the mirror before stepping out the door. Little girls should look and act like little girls. As my parents would always say, “It is better to be seen (in a good way) then heard (loud and rude)!”
