The death of cornrows….

Cornrows are done! No one should be still wearing them! They are played out and if you’re still wearing them then you are just be stuck in the ”Poetic Justice” state of mind! And that’s just horrible…

Yeah, ladies this is a no go!

Ladies- The style is so not you. There are a plethora of other hairstyles that you all can wear besides these ugly cornrows. Take the time to find a style that is both complementary of you and your lifestyle.

Even Ludacris cut his hair!

Guys- Go and get a haircut! The whole “Girl, won’t you braid my hair” phase is a wrap. I would even go so far as to say cut those dreads off as well, but some of you aren’t going to do it. A man with a fresh haircut shows a woman that he takes pride in grooming himself regularly. Find you a good barber and become a loyal patron of his. Don’t chair hop either, you want a barber who can groom your cut into something worth bragging about.

Fashion is head to toe! Don’t deter people from your fashion savvy attire because of  your outdated and honestly ugly hairstyle.

Interesting piece. I can see the cornrows on guys going out style. After a certain age, it’s time to let them go; but I may have to agree to disagree with cornrows on women. There are so many ways for African American women to wear their hair and cornrows in stylish forms may never be something that die. It’s about the grace of style a woman wears her hair that makes it an A+. African American hair is made up into so much creativity that their are so many different names for a basic cornrow. I will agree about the “boyish” look of cornrows on a woman. If it doesn’t represent a females feminity in adulthood, then it only represents either a little girl or a young mind. Just my opinion.
