Fred’s Health Tip of the Day

27 May

Good Sunday Morning Fam!

Physical, mental, and emotional health are very closely intertwined with one another. Please be careful about who you love!

Assess Your Relationships

Like all violence, intimate partner violence (IPV) is a learned behavior that can be changed or prevented. Abuse includes physical abuse, sexual abuse, threats, and emotional abuse. Often, IPV starts with emotional abuse. This behavior can progress to physical or sexual abuse.

IPV is linked to harmful health behaviors as well. Victims may try to cope with their trauma in unhealthy ways. This includes smoking, drinking, taking drugs, or having risky sex. Take a few minutes to determine if you or others you care about are in an unhealthy relationship, and get help if needed.

Get out of this relationship, right now! Whether it’s men or women. Yes men can be in abusive relationships and fellas you don’t have to be ashamed to admit it. If a woman is verbally or physically abusing you walk away from it. Don’t risk your freedom because she is bitter. And ladies, I don’t care how many kids you have with this man leave him! If he kills you, then the kids won’t have either parent!

This is not okay, people!

This is not okay, ladies! Just because he’s a real man and won’t hit you back that doesn’t give you the right to beat on him.     Just one of ‘fatboyfavs’
