High-waisted Empire Style Dresses

High-waisted dresses in the “Empire style” of Josephine Bonaparte, French Emperor Napoleon’s wife, become vogue in the United States. They remain in style throughout the nineteenth century.

As I’ve stated in many of my posts before, fashion trends are always evolving and revolving. Take a look at how it is done today. Ladies this style is only for a specific body type so be mindful of that when shopping for it.

It’s amazing how we “recycle so many trends, that sometimes we often forget and not pay homage to the innovators of such. I’m not saying going out and marry a little person ladies (lol), I just want you to make sure that you do the trend justice and not make a complete mockery of it.So, big bust ladies stay away from these dresses. Keep it classy ladies!

I'm not a big fan of the style myself but the look can be flattering for some women.
