Keeping up with this series seems as if it’s going to be quite fun and interesting. I’m already getting great feedback and I’m looking to feature more boutiques and restaurants outside of the metro Atlanta area. If you know of any hit me up..
Today’s Fashion blast is going to have to be Sid Mashburn. Located on Howell Mill Rd in Atlanta, it’s a specialty clothing boutique that caters to the more refined, well dress man. The prices here are a bit steep but I can’t “not” feature them because they really do have an incredible selection. The style of clothing sold here is how every man should aspire to dress. Well-fitted suits with all the extras to match.
Although their goal was to help a man dress, they offer more than the normal rules/guidelines. Men are taught how to feel comfortable in their own skin and they introduce us (men) to skills that would serve us well for our entire life, such as how to tie a tie, where your pants should break and how to dress for certain occasions. This isn’t just a shopping trip, it can be considered for many, part of that father/son ritual that many of us missed out on.
They can be quoted as saying, “Our role is to serve… to help men navigate the uncertainty of their wardrobe choices. We are not just offering the perfect suit, socks, or sweater; we are providing a sense of security, confidence and joy in the wearing of them. We want to help men to be properly dressed and properly served… clothed and in their right mind.” They do just that here.
If you only buy one suit from here it is definitely worth the entire experience. If you’ve ever been privy to this experience let me know what you thought of it!
