Dressing for Success:It’s More Than What You Wear…

06 May

Good morning world, I hope everyone had a great weekend! I know I did!

Dressing for success, such a common phrase that we’ve heard for much of our lives. But many people don’t tell you that it is more than that business suit or clean uniform that you put on everyday to make a living, It is your attitude as well. You can be the best dressed person in the office and be competent in your work but if your attitude smells like a landfill then you’ve completely overshadowed your positives.

Always remember that success is just like beauty, it has to start from within. Very few people get to the top by being a jerk in the beginning, at some point they had to make nice with others to ensure that they wouldn’t be overthrown once getting to the top. I’m not saying be fake and use people, but be genuine and leave your negative issues at home. It’s understandable that everyone has a bad day here and there but don’t allow that to cause you any strife in your most important relationships..

So always dress for success, whether you work at McDonald’s or Microsoft be sure that both your outerwear and inner emotions are inline with making you a better person each day.
